The name Filou is the most successful metal spinning top of all time.
It was once made by Ernst Paul Lehmann as a gnome, then as a bibi and now continued by DBS as Filou. His advertising text was short and sweet at the time: “Dance upright or upside down and whistle while doing it.” It is now sold all over the world in a circulation of well over 60 million pieces.
